If we have 12 months for working with a primary theme, what should we do?
If the journey is defined as a "Strategic Exploration", then you are doing two things in one year.
1. Your journey is a real case of a "Strategic Exploration". You are building a real data about the theme.
2. Your primary theme is "Strategic Exploration". It refers to some cognitive activities about it and a network of themes. Some themes are concepts.
I did a similar thing in 2022 with the primary theme called "Life Discovery".
1. I worked on three Life Discovery projects at the PRACTICE level.
2. I also worked on "Life Discovery" as an example of "Second-order Activity" at the THEORY level because "Second-order Activity" is the core concept of the Anticipatory Activity System (AAS) framework.
Why did I take this journey? Because my mission is to connect THEORY and PRACTICE. I also developed several tools for this mission.
It depends on your life aspiration (future), life situation (present), and life reflection (past).
We don't need to have a plan for a journey of Strategic Exploration. However, the Past-Present-Future schema is our default frame. We should dance with it.
I'd like to share my real experience with "exploration". One of my habits is perceiving on minor changes in my life and work.

Do you notice that I used the same picture "Replay Creative Life" for two different things?
It means that there is a change of meanings about the picture.
I perceived this minor change and started reflected on it.
I wrote a note about it and mentioned several related themes such as "affordance", "meaning", "sign making", etc.
I also discussed it within an email I sent to my mentor.
This is a major idea in my mind these days.
You can also see my public writings about "Business as Engagement" which is about applying my theoretical frameworks to the field of Business Development. For me, this project doesn't have too much secrets.
But the change of meaning of "Replay Creative Life" refers to "Sign Making". This is a secret to me.
It may lead to an exploration.
