Thanks for sharing this insight! Three months ago, I worked on developing a theory of Domain. In fact, it is about the “person — domain” relationship in the context of career development. I realized that there is no a general theory of Domain. So, I used a theory curation approach to develop a practical framework: A Domain = Themes (Activity + Personal Projects + Events). Though my framework is about career development, your idea encourages me to think further.
