Thematic Space Theory: One Map and Four Paths

Case Studies and Theory-building

This article is part of the Thematic Space Theory series.

On December 31, 2024, I introduced a knowledge map to present the landscape of Thematic Space Theory. See the diagram above.

The map featured five models:

  • The Life — History — Multiverse Model
  • The Thematic Space Canvas
  • The Mental Moves Model
  • The “Thematic Areas and Thematic Zones” Model
  • The Thematic Curation Model

Two days ago, I published a multi-layered knowledge map about knowledge engagement.

The map is a multi-layered knowledge map composed of four types of knowledge elements:

  • Layer 1: The Knowledge Discovery Canvas (2022)
  • Layer 2: The Grasping the Concept Model (2023)
  • Layer 3: The Kinds of Concept-related Knowledge Engagement Model (2024)
  • Layer 4: A curated set of related creative themes (2025)
