This is the end of UX as a Job. However, we can use it as Theme.
UX is not a good concept for defining a job role and description. Here is an example:
A job role is about Division of Labour. However, the term UX doesn't help us with this task because it doesn't describe a clear boundary of a job.
"UX is inherently multidisciplinary, it can be adapted to fit almost any discipline that deals with communication, technology, design, or psychology."
This is a statement of considering UX as a Theme.
The major difference between Theme and Identity is the former offers a function of crossing the boundary of disciplines while the latter keeps the boundary for career development.
We need both Theme and Identity in the age of creative collaboration. The Shared Theme is the key to collaborative projects.
