I have worked on the curation field for over ten years. I am the chief information architect of BagTheWeb.com which is an early tool of content curation. We launched the site in 2010.

This experience inspired my to the Curation theme. Last year I wrote a book titled Curativity to introduce my idea: Curativity Theory. For practical side, this theory can guide many innovate ideas for curate related human activities. We can see Writing as a special type of curating. In order to produce a high quality book or paper, you have to curate your ideas, references, social supporters.

In fact, there is a chapter titled Knowledge Curation which is a theoretical application analysis in my book Curativity. Unfortunately, I wrote it in Chinese. And I don’t like to translate it into English. I’d like to write new ideas in English.

I am also thinking on the next version of BagTheWeb. My new idea is similar to your picture. BagTheWeb.com is good enough for content curation, but it is not perfect for “creative thinking/curating/writing/discussing”. What I want to build is a new tool can afford integrated experience for “creative thinking/curating/writing/discussing”. Thus, it should be another Creative Space too.
